Course Goal
concepts encountered in contemporary art in the historical integrity of art, to analyze their relations with social political and economic phenomena and to enable students to position their original works in contemporary art theories and practices.
Course Content
This course covers contemporary art and creative practices, cultural revolutions that have shaped art from the 1960s to the present, critical theories and important facts of art history, that is, concepts that stand out in the 20th century, formalism, feminism, poststructuralism, and so on. A series of artistic approaches are examined. In this process, students interpret and analyze important examples of art by interpreting the visual examples in oral and written form
