Course Goal / Objective

Understanding the symbolic language of the motifs used in the decorative arts, as well as understanding the intercultural interaction of the motifs used in the Turkish decorative arts.

Course Content

Research and literature reviews are made on geometric, vegetal and belief symbols, motifs and composition patterns in textile patterns. design is developed.
