Course Goal / Objective

Understanding the negative effects of construction materials on lifelong, environmental values and their contribution to environmental problems, providing the ability to make ecological criticism of building materials, and developing awareness of responsibility towards environmental problems.

Course Content

In the graduate education process, building materials can be selected from recyclable materials, use of environmentally friendly materials instead of harmful chemicals, design of building elements with reusable materials and alternatives of building materials, ie evaluation of building material from the perspective of sustainability and ecology, informing the student about the determination of ecologically rational materials selection criteria and to raise awareness.
