Course Goal

By teaching what scientific research is, how it is planned, how it is applied and results are achieved, and reporting in education, it is aimed that the student can plan and carry out a research on his own. In the context of the importance of the scientific method, by providing the necessary information about the stages and types of scientific research, it is easy to make sense of scientific writings in terms of linguistic, formal and content, and to solve the problems related to the field of study or to make research and report it.

Course Content

Basic concepts in scientific research (knowledge, science, assumption, etc.), the structure of scientific research, scientific methods and different views on these methods, problem, research model, universe and sample, data collection and data collection methods (quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques) data recording, analysis, interpretation and reporting.
