Course Goal / Objective
To give information about the quality of drinking water and its importance in terms of human health, design of drinking water treatment plants and plant properties.
Course Content
Drinking water and its properties, drinking water international and TSE standards, studies on standards. Human anatomy, effects of some organic and inorganic dissolved substances on human health and their effects on climate and human factor. Drinking water quality, drinking water, organic and inorganic material removal, treatment. Bacteriological treatment and disinfection. Classification, pollution and protection of water resources.
