Course Goal / Objective

Understands the dimensioning of the foundations of public, residential and industrial buildings in accordance with law.

Course Content

Soil investigations, Shallow foundations, Raft foundation design, Design of deep foundations, Vertically Loaded Pile, Laterally loaded piles, Group piles, Pile load tests, Retaining structures.
