Introduction and classification of structural and functional materials, Advanced Materials, High-Temperature Materials, Structure, Processing, mechanical behavior and oxidation resistance of Stainless Steels, Ni and Co Based Superalloys, Composite Materials; Carbon Carbon and Ceramic Composites, Shape Memory Alloys, Nano materials: Classification, size effect on structural and functional properties, Advanced High Strength Steels, Energy Environmental Materials, Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, Advanced Machining Process, Computational Modeling and Simulation.
