Course Goal

Gaining the ability to prepare mold models, casting mold models and analyze

Course Content

Metal mold types and definitions. Properties of steels commonly used in mold manufacturing. Mold set and elements. Mold designs and drawings. Assembly of formwork elements. Presses used in mold making and their properties. Molding force, mold work and force analysis in molds.
