Course Goal

To educate graduate students in fundamental knowledge and application areas of nanotechnology. Teaching basic principles of synthesis and characterization techniques at nanoscale. Conveying current interdisciplinary research in this area to the students.

Course Content

Introduction and classification, description of Nanotechnology and classification of nanostructure, The electronic properties of solids and atoms, Atomic bonds, Free Electron Model, Electronic conductivity, The change in total energy of system, The growing methods of nanomaterials, Science in Nano level, Quantum Mechanism, Molecular transport and Thermodynamic, Momentum and energy transfer in Nano level, Nano materials; design, synthesis and characterization, Nano production, devices and systems.
