Course Goal

Teaching energy consumption and power requirements in vehicles, teaching the analysis of weight factor in vehicle design, teaching powertrain calculations, teaching basic factor in system designs

Course Content

Energy consumption and power requirements. Weight and weight factor in design. Power transmission systems and their efficiency. Brake systems design. Suspension design factor. Steering system design.
