Course Goal

To teach the concept of biotechnology, plant biotechnology and in vitro culture, and to give some information about methodologies used in plant biotechnology

Course Content

This course contains the concept of biotechnology, plant biotechnology and in vitro culture, introduction to plant biotechnology laboratory, plant culture medium used in in vitro culture, preparing stock solution for macro and microelements, preparing stock solution for plant hormone and vitamins, sterilization for glass and metal materials, preparing plant culture medium, principles of working in the sterile cabin, sterilization of plant materials, embryo culture, anther culture, DNA isolation and PCR analysis
