Course Goal
It is aimed to inform about the development and current situation of Turkish textile industry and to raise awareness about the direction and expectations of Turkish textile policy in the future.
Course Content
Turkish Textile Industry, Historical Development and Current Status. Position of Textile in Turkish Industry. Structural Change in the Textile Industry in Turkey and the world. Turkish Textile Industry Infrastructure, Deficiencies and Problems. Raw Materials, Equipment and Labor Force Assessments. What to do in Turkish Textile Industry and Suggestions for Solutions. Location and Competitiveness of Turkish Textile in Emerging World Markets. The Directions and Expectations of Turkish Textile Policy in the Future.
