Course Goal

To teach the application of selected analysis methods to be used for statistical analysis of the obtained data and the interpretation of the results.

Course Content

Creating the statistical models in the studies related to thesis. Selection of appropriate statistical analysis for the experimental study. Parametric tests, nonparametric tests. Normal distribution test, randomness test. One way Anova, Univariate Anova and multivariate Anova tests. T-test in dependent and independent data. Regression analysis, correlation analysis, curve fitting. Textile applications of statistical methods with the help of computer aided statistical package program. Statistical analysis and interpretation of the results of experimental studies. Optimization techniques, mathematical modeling, use of the selected optimization package program.
