Course Goal / Objective

Classification of yarn production methods, explaining the latest developments in conventional ring yarn production method, teaching new yarn production technologies.

Course Content

Classification of yarn production methods, general information. Latest developments and new technologies in conventional ring spinning. Open-end Rotor spinning technology, yarn formation principle, yarn properties. Open-end Friction spinning technology, yarn formation principle, Dref 2, Dref 3, Dref 2000 and Dref 3000 spinning systems, yarn properties. Air-Jet spinning technology, yarn formation principle, yarn properties. Wrap spinning systems, yarn formation principle, yarn properties. Self-Twist spinning systems, yarn properties.
