Course Goal

To provide information about the concept and scope of clothing technology. To teach the importance of apparel production processes and machinery used in the model design. To provide information on new technologies apparel.

Course Content

Basic information about garment technology, apparel current situation in our country and around the world. Apparel Production Flow. Design, Fashion and Their Effects.Clothing Design, Design Methods in Application. Production of a Selected Model in Clothing From Lay to Packaging. Sewability. Apparel Manufacturing Machines. Quality Control in Clothing From Lay to Packaging. New Technologies in Garment Industry and Innovation.
