Course Goal

To teach the basics of weaving preparation processes and machines, to give information about the latest innovations and technologies

Course Content

General information about weaving, classification of weaving preparation processes and general concepts, definitions. Winding process, machines, latest developments and new technologies. Folding-twisting processes, machinery, latest developments and new technologies. Warping process, machines, latest developments and new technologies. Sizing process, machines, sizing substances and their properties, latest developments and new technologies. Drawing-in process, machines, latest developments and new technologies.
