Course Goal

The aim of this course is to provide the students with the necessary knowledge and skills to investigate the properties and applications of remote sensing and renewable energy sources.

Course Content

What is remote sensing The electromagnetic spectrum, the atmosphere and the relationship between the detection, remote sensing techniques, satellite. Energy, by definition, the basic principles and history of the use of energy, energy types, energy and nature of fossil energy resources and atmospheric pollution, environmental problems caused by fossil energy sources, renewable energy sources, solar energy, definition, usage, and history of the basics of solar radiation, solar energy technologies, solar radiation calculator elements, principles of wind energy, wind energy conversion systems, geothermal energy and other renewable energy sources in developing the present and the future.
