Course Goal
Teaching in farming systems of diseases and pests of honey bees. With the theoretical and practical knowledge on diseases and pests of bee honey and it to have the ability to use information in the field of beekeeping.
Course Content
Importance of bee health, Past and Present History,Problems, Classification of honeybees diseases and parasities; morfology, symstoms, multiplication, spread, biology and ecology diagnosis and the ways of prevention and control methods. Effects of pecticidis on honey bees. The drugs and mechanisms of action used in bee health. Legal arrangements, practices and sanctions about the health of bees
