Course Goal

To provide the theoretical and practical learning of the mechanisms of neural regulation of circulation

Course Content

Autonomic nervous system and its central control; the role of the nervous system in the rapid control of arterial pressure; baroreceptor reflex; chemoreceptor reflex; atrial pulmonary artery reflexes; ischemic response of the central nervous system; Cushing reaction; specific aspects of neural control of arterial pressure.

Course Precondition

To have taken the human anatomy course in the undergraduate program
