Course Goal / Objective
The most common types of cancer diagnosis, the use of different treatment methods and effective management of side effects of nursing interventions aimed to gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Course Content
This course teaches the necessary theoretical knowledge and practices (carcinogenesis, epidemiology, etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, symptom control, rehabilitation, oncologic emergencies and terminal care) for providing nursing care to individuals diagnosed with cancer and for prevention of cancer.
