Course Goal

Giving information of characteristics of the stages of human development from fertilization until birth and mechanisms of events taking place at this time.

Course Content

General characteristics of male and female reproductive system, spermatogenesis, oogenesis, ovulation, fertilization, implantation, bilaminar germ disc, trilaminar germ disc, embryonic period, development of the fetus, fetal membranes, placenta, congenital malformations and assisted reproductive technologies
