Molecular and cell effects of radiation, cell survival curves, learning the effects of radiation dose-rate effects and applications
Course Content
Physics and chemistry of radiation absorption, Molecular mechanism of DNA and chromosome damage and repair, Cell survival curves, Radiation sensitivity and cell aging in mitotic cycle, Divided radiation and dose-rate effect, Oxygen effect and oxygenation, Radiation and cancer formation, Radiation inherited effects, Radiation embryo and fetuse effects, arasnav, final exam, assignments.
