Course Goal / Objective
To learn the basic working principles of endocrine system. To learn how the growth hormone and its peripheral effector, insulin-like growth factor changes in response to exercise. To learn the relationship between adrenal gland stress. To learn the effect of exercise on reproductive system
Course Content
1. Basic Principles and Mechanisms of Endocrinology 2. Growth hormone, its variants and growth hormone binding proteins 3. Resistance Exercise: Acute and Chronic Changes in Growth Hormone Concentrations 4. The Growth Hormone Response to Acute and Chronic Aerobic Exercise 5.
