Course Goal
Accident, illness, etc. that endanger people's life or health. In the event of an emergency, it is to learn the non-medicated practices at the scene in order to save life or prevent the situation from getting worse, until the help of the healthcare team is provided.
Course Content
Students will be able to list the types of injuries and define the principles of first aid in injuries. Students will describe the functions and importance of the respiratory and circulatory system. Students will describe attempts to make respiration happen. Students will be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Students will be able to explain the principles of first aid in fainting. Students will be able to list the methods of stopping bleeding and explain the importance of stopping bleeding methods. Students will know the signs and symptoms of shock and will be able to define first aid in case of shock. Students will be able to comprehend first aid principles according to poisoning types.
