Course Goal

The aim of this course is to gain skills in calculating the resultant and moment of various forces in plane systems, solving problems using equilibrium equations, calculating the support reaction and the location of the center of gravity, and calculating bar forces by learning the properties of plane truss systems

Course Content

Within the scope of this course, information is given on the resultant, force couple and moment in plane force systems, equilibrium conditions, calculation of support reactions in structural systems, distributed loads and center of gravity calculation, plane truss systems and calculation of member forces of these systems
