Course Goal

To understand the working principles and methods of landscape architects, to know the plant design principles and the characteristics of garden and ornamental plants, to make basic design decisions about open and green spaces in their projects.

Course Content

Fundamental concepts of landscape architecture. History of landscape architecture. Human-nature relationship. Landscape planning and landscape design. Site design and grading. Garden plants. Landscape construction. Analysis of awarded landscape design and planning projects. Preparation of a landscape design project.
