Course Goal

The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to explain the behavior of bar structural systems, create structural models in these systems, calculate the support reaction of simple beams, gerber beams and three-jointed frames and draw internal force diagrams, and calculate bar force in plane truss systems.

Course Content

This course consists of information about bar systems, section effects and section effect diagrams in these systems, simple beams, gerber beams, three-jointed arches and frames, and calculation of plane truss systems.
