Course Goal
The aim of this course is to give information about the characteristics of poetry, to determine the form and content features of Turkish poetry in the Tanzimat period and to analyze poetry.
Course Content
Type of poetry, general characteristics of poetry, characteristics of poetry in terms of form and content, evaluation of poetry language, new understanding of meter and rhyme in Turkish poetry after Tanzimat, new verse forms used in Turkish poetry after Tanzimat, free verse, new approaches about content in Turkish poetry after Tanzimat and applications constitute the content of this course.
