Course Goal / Objective
Overview of wildlife-forestry relations and principles of forest management according to wildlife. It is aimed to teach the silvicultural precautions that can be taken for the improvement of wildlife with wildlife damages and protection measures from the silvicultural interventions carried out in Orhan.
Course Content
Forest management - Wildlife relationships, Forest care (selection, sifting and pruning) - Wildlife relations, Health scavenging, debris removal and rejuvenation studies and tree species mix, stone textures and structure effects (closure) to wildlife, effects of forest fires on wild life, effects of forest fires on wildlife, effects of forest fires on wildlife, effects of forest fires on wildlife and protective measures on wildlife in road construction, effects of wildlife on harvesting, parting and slaughtering,
