Course Goal

The course presents the requirements and limitation of various dating techniques; objectives and methods of understanding objects, botanical and faunal assemblages; and modeling past behavior on a regional scale.

Course Content

The course reviews various dating techniques; it presents techniques and methods for analyzing objects, animal bones and plant remains; and it presents approaches to understanding settlements in the wider regional context.
