Course Goal
The aim of this course is to explain the structure and purpose of international organizations and the role of international economic organizations in the global system.
Course Content
Objectives, histories of international economic institutions, their role in the global economy, policy tools, General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, World Trade Organization, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, OECD, other integration initiatives in Asia, Africa and the Americas.
