Course Goal
To explain the concept, scope and importance of sports tourism and to convey the development of sports tourism types in the world and in Turkey.
Course Content
Basic concepts related to tourism and sports, characteristics of tourism industry and touristic product, relationship between tourism and sports, definition and scope of sports tourism, economic, social and physical effects, types of sports tourism.
