Course Goal
The main purpose of this course is to give students the capacity to understand the politics of Turkey.
Course Content
This course presents the development of Turkish political life through primary sources and materials. In the first part of the course, political processes in the Ottoman era, state-society relations, the foundation of Turkish Republic and post-Republic era till the introduction of multi-party political system are examined.
