Course Goal
To introduce the art of gardening and landscaping from the past to the present through examples.
Course Content
The gardens of antiquity, Middle Ages and Europe, History of garden design in Babylon, Egypt, Persia, Ancient Greece and Rome. Gardens of medieval castles and monasteries. Renaissance gardens. Spanish-Islamic gardens. Gardens of England. Far East and USA. Turkish gardens.
