Course Goal

Aim of this lecture, to learn the structural and functional proporties of the machinery and equipments used mechanization of animal husbandry (Hay making, feed preparation, milking, manure handling and storage, feeding, watering, poultry housing).

Course Content

The machinery and equipments used hay making (Mowers, rakes, hay conditioners, balers, bale picking and transporting, forage harvesters, forage blowers, silo unloaders), structural and functional proporties of the feed preperation systems uded feed plants (Silos,weighers, comminution machines, mixers, pelleting and delivering), manure scrapers, milking machines and milking parlour, feeding and watering systems, incubators for hens.
