Course Goal

It is aimed to create a design consciousness, to raise awareness of the construction schemes from natural formations to the built environment, to use basic design elements in space formation, to model with the perception of volume-structure, and to develop patterns.

Course Content

Introduction to basic design, the frame of design process from creation to production; training art eye of design; environmental and architectural components using for design tools, sense experience and perception: mapping for sign of association with using of drawing and modelling elements; contextual and dimensional apprehension from the basic elements as point, line, plane and volumetric form, through the sense of pattern, thinking way for modul units in relation of form and structure; modelling with the consistence of composition by using proportion, ritm, repetition and contrast.
