Course Goal

The aim of the course is to cover the current situation of organic agriculture in the world and in Turkey, the general principles of organic agriculture, the control and certification procedures in organic agriculture, the natural supply of nutrients to the soil within the scope of the development of organic agriculture, the methods used in the control of diseases, pests and weeds, and the methods used in the control of some plants. Giving samples of organic farming.

Course Content

In this course, information is given about the current situation, purpose and principles of organic agriculture in the world and in Turkey, as well as natural enrichment of the soil with nutrients, methods used to control diseases, pests and weeds, control and certification issues in organic agriculture within the scope of the development of organic agriculture. Organic farming examples are given in some plant species.
