Course Goal

To provide a basic infrastructure on how and what purposes to use economics in order to solve macro and micro level problems in agriculture

Course Content

Main subjects and concepts related to agricultural economics; Characteristics of the agricultural sector and food commodities; Agriculture and economical development; Basic economic concepts and principles in agricultural economics; Agricultural production factors; Analysis of the annual operating results of agricultural holdings; Preparation and analysis of the balance sheet in agricultural holdings; Farm management, agricultural marketing and policies
