Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to discuss the relations of human with agriculture from the past to the present time. And the effects of the developments in agriculture on human life with the philosophical dimension in harmony in student understanding. With the present agricultural development structure, to make the students understand the importance of the subject they are working on for humanity .
Course Content
The changes that have occurred in agriculture until today in the process of human being human. Since than agriculture practices are handled in a systematic perspective. From the ancient times to the today's developments in the agricultural tools is progressed. The courses is covering in agricultural society of Rome, Egypt and Mesopotamia to modern world. Reflections of the relationship between agriculture and land in the Ottoman period to the Republic of Turkey period are also discussed. Agricultural development in the Republic of Turkey period and today's agricultural policies in the EU process are covered as well. It is to cover the basic concepts of the history of agriculture as a whole. From the past to the present, the development of human beings based on providing food in the historical process and the differentiation of civilizations.
