Course Goal

To give detailed information about welding and thermal joining methods and application areas commonly used in engineering applications.

Course Content

Welding machines, Electric arc welding. Welding under constant current. welding under constant voltage. Welding parameters. Oxy-acetylene source. resistance source. The structure of the source zone. Arc source. Multi-pass weld. Bevel types and their representation. welding positions. Electrode and filler materials. Properties and welding capabilities of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
