Course Goal / Objective
To have basic information about the definition and classification of Mechanical Vibrations, modeling of the system, linearization, solution methods that can be used and interpretation of the results.
Course Content
Preliminary knowledge of Newton's dynamics. Fundamental definitions of vibration and vibrational terms. Cons and pros of vibration. Classifications of vibration. Modeling and simplifying the physical systems. Creating the equation of motion and its solution methods. Interpreting the solutions.
