Course Goal

The aim of this course is to equip the students with the basic knowledge about cooling technologies and to design the cooling system with this information.

Course Content

In this course; cooling technologies, basic concepts, cooling cycle and cooling methods, refrigerants, compressors, condensers and cooling towers, expansion valves, evaporators, control and auxiliary elements and pressure-enthalpy diagram are explained.
