Course Goal

Aim of this course is To teach Determination of problems encountered in dams and research methods, Causes and solutions of problems

Course Content

Karst terminology. Geology of karstic areas. Karstization and geomorphological phases. Geological and hydrogeological investigations in karstic areas. Karstic problems and examples in engineering applications. Research techniques in karstic foundations. Data collection, location selection and improvement alternativ is the content of this course.
