Course Goal / Objective

Aim of this lecture is to teach students how to classify oceanic basins. In the frame of this lecture, students will better understand mineralogy, chemical content and magmatic processes within the mantle beneath the oceanic basins.

Course Content

Definition and features of oceanic basins, chemical content and magmatic processes within the mantle beneath different oceanic basins are given in the frame of this lecture.

Course Precondition

There is no prerequisite.
