Course Goal / Objective

To get information about the importance of microbiology and microorganisms and identificate the prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms

Course Content

Basic concepts of the microbiology, the history and scope of microbiology. Microorganisms, microscope and the dyeing techniques. Classification of the microorganisms. Prokaryotic and eukaryoitc cell structures, gram-pozitive and negative bacterias, their organelles. Chemical and physical requirements of the microbial requirements. Microbial growth control. Bacteria, fungus, maya, alg, protozoa, virus, parasits. Microbial genetic. Nutrition and metabolism of microorganisms. Beneficial and harmful effects of microorganisms.
