Course Goal

The aim of this course is to provide the students with the necessary basic knowledge about the structure, shape and surface selection which are the most challenging conceptual stage of machine design and the analysis and synthesis of the resulting movements.

Course Content

In this course; machine design-mechanism technique relations, mechanisms-structure-form-surface and the resulting movement relations, mechanical systems of the spindle rotation centers, speed and acceleration analysis, motion types, motion curves and gear systems are described.
