Course Goal

To apperceive numerious and diverse real-world engineering examples to give students a feel for how fluid mechanics is applied in engineering practice.

Course Content

Dimensional Analysis and Modeling, Flow in PipesApproximate Solutions of the Navier-Stokes Equation, Flow over Bodies: Drag and Lift, Compressible Flow, Open Channel flow, Turbomachinery, Introduction to Computational Fluid Mechanics.
