Course Goal

The aim of this course is to explain the basic principles of economics and the behavior and decision-making processes of individuals and institutions in the light of these principles.

Course Content

This course; Introduction to Economics, Supply and Demand, Flexibility and Consumer-Producer Surplus, Tax Economy, International Trade, Consumer Preference, Producer Preference, Perfect Competition Market, Monopoly Market, Oligopoly Market and Monopolistic Competition Market, Externalities and Market Failures, The Role of the State in the Economy and Public Goods, Factor Markets, Income Distribution and Poverty; includes topics.
