Course Goal

To gain mathematical approach to define economic concepts and to introduce utilization of mathematical tools in economical problem solving

Course Content

Importance and benefits of using mathematics in economics; function and graphs in economics (functions of total return, demand functions and cost functions and graphs); derivative and its economic interpretation; economic applications of derivatives; power functions and logarithmic functions; matrices; determinants and linear functions
