Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the students with the necessary knowledge about the importance of the land resources that have an important place in agriculture and the effective use of them.

Economic Meaning and Importance of Land, Alternative Land Use, Land as a Production Factor; Land Resources Supply; Characteristics of Land Market; Land Demand and Population; Valuation of Land; Land Grading; Expropriation; Land Use Status and Problems in Turkey; Out-of-Purpose Use of Agricultural Land, Global Climate Change and Its Impact on Land Use; Consolidation; Applications in Turkey and in the world; Legislation on Land, Inheritance Law.
